Index № 05 — Ecosystem Note

565 applicants in one launch week

A neutral portfolio note: a fellow venture by the same founder, VisaNationals, has hit its first real usage milestone. We are marking it because the two companies share a founder — not an owner.

A note from the portfolio. VisaNationals — one of the six ventures we build and run in partnership with our sister entity, 3Men Pty Ltd (Sydney), which operates it — has recorded its first meaningful usage milestone.

The number: in the first four days of its July 2026 launch week, VisaNationals drew 565 real applicants to its free UK visa readiness assessment — not sign-ups against a future promise, but people who actually ran their own situation through the tool.

565 real applicants in four days is not a vanity figure. It is 565 people who wanted the truth about their file before they risked the fee.

What the early usage looked like

The published launch-week figures are unusually clean. The median completion time was 7.8 minutes, and 72% of applicants finished in under ten minutes. Most land in a Moderate-to-Good readiness band — typically a handful of fixable gaps rather than fatal problems, which is far cheaper to correct before an application than to discover inside a refusal letter.

It is easy to see why the proposition travelled: a free readiness check taken before the non-refundable £135 UK visa fee is paid. For anyone weighing a costly, one-shot application, ten minutes of clarity is a rational trade.

A note to the early users

To the 565 who showed up in the first days: thank you. Early users carry a disproportionate share of the risk and give back a disproportionate share of the learning. If you have run the assessment and have something to say — where it was sharp, where it missed — the team wants it. Feedback goes directly to support@visanationals.com.

We are keeping this note high-level. The detail behind the numbers belongs to VisaNationals, and the assessment itself is the better introduction: what the UK visa readiness assessment actually does. We mark the milestone here because it reflects the pattern the whole portfolio is built on — products that remove a measurable cost borne by real people, then earn their keep over the long term.
